BLIND LEMON PLEDGE HAS THEIR HEARTS ON THEIR SLEEVES FOR VALENTINE’S DAY!
* 1/9, 7-9:30pm. Ocean Ale House, 1314 Ocean Ave., San Francisco
As we roll into 2018, Blind Lemon Pledge has some fun gigs lined up for February.
Thursday the 9th sees us returning for another fun evening at the Ocean Ale House. This is a great venue to catch us live. The crowd is lively, the drinks and food are good, and the staff is very friendly. This gig marks the beginning of a "residency" at the Ale House. We will be appearing every 2nd Friday into the foreseeable future.
On the 12th we do our monthly residency at the Green Tortoise. Hope to see some of our North Beach fans. Let us know if you want on the mailing list.
On Tuesday 13th, we return for our 4th engagement at Chez Marius where we have been appearing since November. We are now officially booked for the last Tuesday of each month until further notice.
And, as always, we hope you will join the fun at Cheers in Pacifica where we appear every first Sunday. Our next appearance is on 2/4.
In other news, singles from Blind Lemon's 2017 album "Backwoods Glance" continue to appear on the Cashbox Singles Charts. Previously "Polly Come Out" got into the Number 1 spot on the Americana and Country Charts. "Give My Poor Heart Ease" got into the top 20 on the Americana Chart. Now "Give My Poor Heart Ease" has also been climbing the Country Chart, while another single "Ma Belle Cherie" has reached #23 on the Americana Chart and #18 on the Country Chart. We are happy at the continuing success of this album.
Well that's all for this month. Hope to see you at a show soon. And hope you will check us out at www.blues.james-creative.com
